  • Put up an official Bell Walk for Kids Help Phone poster in your office/ community centre or local club.
  • Send family and friends an email asking them to pledge you.
  • Add a note to the bottom of your emails directing people to your personal pledge page.
  • Text your friends – tell them about the Bell Walk for Kids Help Phone.

Explain what Kids Help Phone is all about
The more people know about Kids Help Phone, the more generous they’ll be. Send people to the Kids Help Phone website or print out information for them.

Here are some key things they’ll want to know:

  • Last year, Kids Help Phone helped kids from about 3,000 Canadian communities well over 1.5 million times by phone and online.
  • Kids Help Phone counsellors have access to a database of more than 37,000 community and social service listings, so they can connect kids with help in their own communities.
  • Kids Help Phone has paid, professional counsellors – volunteers do not answer the phones or online questions.

Sell, sell, sell!
Work together with friends and team members to think of some original fundraising ideas – hold bake sales or car washes, rake leaves or shovel snow. Or ask us about how you can sell Bell Walk for Kids Help Phone paper fundraising shoes.  The possibilities are endless! Just remember, this is for a great cause and your efforts are helping kids in communities across Canada.
